There are so many reasons to enjoy vegan meals
that it should surprise no one that more and more
restaurants are offering animal-free foods. In
fact, a National Restaurant Association poll found
that one in five diners looks for vegetarian meals
when eating out.
If you live in the D.C.-area or are just visiting,
browse through this website and let your mouth
water. We hope youll find VegDC.com useful
and your dining experiences delightful. Its
never been easier to savor vegan cuisine in the
nations capital!

May’s Feature of the Month
Asian Grill
6228-A Rolling Rd.
Springfield, Va.
703-569-4800
Good news, Virginia! Asian Grill's new vegan menu has been so popular
that they're expanding it to include several new dishes. You may remember
that a few months ago Compassion Over
Killing (COK) worked with this popular Chinese restaurant to create
a delicious meat-free menu. Asian Grill now serves veggie "shrimp" in
addition to "chicken" and "beef" dishes—all of which can be made
with your choice of savory sauces including Thai Basil, Black Pepper,
Orange, Black Bean and Kung Pao. We recommend starting your meal with
the amazingly delicious lettuce wraps stuffed with black pepper "beef"
and finishing with a sweet dessert wonton.
Be sure to join Compassion Over Killing for a
benefit day at Asian Grill
on Wed., May 14. Bring your friends and family to enjoy delicious animal-friendly
fare and 10% of the proceeds from the vegan menu will be automatically donated
towards our farmed animal advocacy efforts!
